This is a volunteer, part-time position. Estimated time commitment is approximately 5-7 hours per week, with flexibility based on project timelines.

Position Overview:

The Volunteer HR Coordinator for She Became will support our Human Resources team in building a welcoming, inclusive, and efficient environment that empowers our mission: “To provide the girls of today with the building blocks of success to become the leaders of tomorrow.” This role is integral in helping manage daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, volunteer coordination, and HR administration, ensuring our team of staff and volunteers feel supported and aligned with our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing candidates, crafting job postings, scheduling interviews, and preparing onboarding materials.

  • Coordinate volunteer training and engagement activities, creating an inclusive and welcoming experience

  • Maintain accurate and organized volunteer records

  • Address volunteer questions related to HR policies, onboarding, and organizational values

  • Support HR projects aimed at improving volunteer engagement and efficiency within She Became

Qualifications:

  • Background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a mission-driven environment

  • Passion for She Became’s mission and commitment to building an inclusive and empowering space for girls

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with full recruitment cycle, including creating job postings, scheduling and conducting interviews, and preparing onboarding materials
